simplematch is committed to making the Service accessible to people with disabilities. We work to meet WCAG 2.1 AA conformance and comply with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adaptations) Regulations 5773-2013.
1. Conformance level
The application is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Last audit: [Last Accessibility Audit Date].
- Full keyboard navigation (Tab / Shift+Tab / Enter / Esc)
- Screen-reader support — VoiceOver (iOS / macOS), TalkBack (Android), NVDA (Windows)
- High color contrast (4.5:1+ for normal text, 3:1+ for large text)
- Text resizable to 200% without loss of functionality
- Alt text on every meaningful image
- Document language declared on every page (lang="he" / "en")
- Full RTL support in Hebrew
2. Accessibility features in the product
- All forms support screen readers — explicit labels on every field (label / aria-label).
- Visible focus states on every interactive element (brand-pink focus ring).
- The application respects the OS-level prefers-reduced-motion setting — animations are softened or disabled.
- The application respects browser font-size settings.
- Tap-target sizes of 48px+ on mobile per WCAG guidelines.
- Error messages are textual, not color-only.
3. Known limitations
We work toward continuous improvement. Currently known limitations:
- Some swipe-based features (in the introductions screen) require touch. Workaround: like / pass buttons beside each card — full functionality without swipe.
- User-uploaded videos do not currently carry automatic captions.
- Emoji and emoji-containing text may not always be optimally announced by every screen reader.

5. Technical documentation
- The application is built in Next.js + React with shadcn/ui components (based on Radix UI), known for accessibility.
- Automated accessibility tests are run with axe-core and Lighthouse for every release.
- Manual VoiceOver + TalkBack testing is performed before any significant release.
